1. Belfast City Hall
One of Belfast's most iconic buildings, City Hall was opened in 1906 and is located in Donegall Square in the centre of Belfast City.
2. Donegall Place
Once home to Anderson McAuley’s Department Store. Now enjoy french cuisine in the grand surroundings.
3. Linen Hall Library
The Linen Hall Library is in the centre of Belfast and is the oldest subscribing Library in Ireland.
4. Scottish Provident

4. The Crown Bar

5. John Long's Fish Shop
John Long’s is one of the oldest fish and chip shops in Belfast. It is part of the historical fabric of the city.

6. Grand Opera House
The Grand Opera House Theatre was designed by a renowed theatre architect named Frank Matcham. It opened on 23 December 1895.

9. Harbour Commissioner's Office
For 150 years this office has been responsible for the running, maintenance and development of Belfast Harbour. Visitors Welcome.
10. The Pump House
The Pump House used to pump out water from the docks that the Titanic sat in. The Pump House was opened in 1889.
11. The Custom's House
The Customs House was built in 1854-57, the interior of the building is still intact, serving the Customs House’s original purpose and is still linked directly to the port.
12. The Dry Docks
Across the River Lagan from the Titanic Quarter lies the Clarendon Dock, where Belfast’s shipbuilding industry was born.

13. Albert Memorial Clock
The Albert Memorial Clock is located in Queen’s Square and was built in 1869. The clock was built in memory of Queen Victoria’s Late Prince Consort, Prince Albert.
14. Waterfront Hall
The Waterfront opened in 1997 and since then it has housed more than 3000 entertainers and welcomed over 5 million visitors.
15. The Beacon of Hope
The Beacon of Hope is a public art sculpture designed by Andy Scott. It cost £300,000. The sculpture is located in Thanksgiving Square and was created in 2007.
16. The Big Fish
The Big Fish is a 32ft salmon that was created in 1999 to celebrate the regeneration of the River Lagan & the historical importance of the site.

17. The SSE Arena
This multipurpose arena offers games, shopping, a bowling alley, ice hockey, concerts and many other events. It is home to the Belfast Giants & W5 Interactive Discovery Centre.
18. The Lagan Weir
This bridge was built in 1994. Located across the Lagan River, it was designed by Ferguson and McIlveen.
19. The Lagan Boat
Take a guided Titanic Boat Tour, which gives an insight into the ever changing story of Belfast’s rich maritime heritage and industry.
20. SS Nomadic
It was once used to ferry first and second class passengers to Titanic from Cherbourg. Now open to the public.

21. HMS Caroline
Saw combat service in World War One and served as an administrative centre in World War II. It was launched and commissioned in 1914.
22. Harland & Wolff
The cranes, locally known as Samson and Goliath, are of Krupp Ardelt design. The most famous vessels that were built by H&W include the RMS Titanic.
23. Titanic Hotel
The H&W office was originally built in the 1880s. It was restored in 2017 to become the Titanic Hotel.
24. Titanic Belfast
Titanic Belfast is a visitor attraction and a monument to Belfast’s maritime heritage on the site of the former Harland & Wolff shipyard.

25. The Titanic Mural
The Titanic mural was created to commemorate the Harland & Wolff Yard workers that built the famous vessel. The mural was first painted in East Belfast in 2003.
26. CS Lewis Square
7 Bronze sculptures from the novel ‘The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe’ are dedicated to Belfast-born author CS Lewis.
27. Cyprus Street
This street in Belfast was made famous by Belfast-born singer Van Morrison, when he wrote a song about it.
28. Stormont Estate
The Parliament Building of the Stormont Estate was built in the 1920s. The building is used by Northern Ireland’s Assembly.

29. Belfast Castle
Belfast Castle is located on the slopes of Cavehill Country Park. Belfast Castle was built in the 12th Century by the Normans.
30. Crumlin Road Gaol
It opened its doors in 1846. The Gaol was open and fully operational for 150 years. Now open to the public for daily tours.
31. Old Courthouse
The Crumlin Rd. Courthouse was designed and built in the early to mid-1800s. Across the road is the Crumlin Rd. Gaol and the two are linked by an underground passage.

34. International Peace Wall
The Peace Wall was erected in 1969 to curb the violence between two communities, murals were painted on; linking to politics and human rights.
35. RISE
A spherical metal sculpture created by Wolfgang Buttress, it was built in 2011 and is located at the gateway to the city, at the entrance to the Falls Road.
36. Bog Meadows
The area is run by the Ulster Wildlife Trust and is located on the outskirts of Belfast. It is mainly reclaimed land drained by the Blackstaff River.

37. Queen's University
Opened in 1849 as Queen’s College, Belfast. The University was actually founded in 1810 and is amongst the UK’s oldest universities.
38. Lord Kelvin Statue
This statue, created in 1913 commemorates William Thomson. A Belfast-born physicist. He helped to lay the foundation for the studies of physics and created the Kelvin scale.
39. The Palm House

40. The Gasworks
Built and opened in 1822 it supplied gas for street lighting and domestic and industrial use. Production finally stopped altogether in 1985.
